Community Reinvestment Board

The community and its members are at the core of everything Summa Health System does. Summa is committed to investing, engaging and transforming our community.

Part of this investment and transformation comes through numerous grants and sponsorships funded by Summa Health System each year. Summa’s Community Reinvestment Board is the review and decision making body for the awards.

Summa Health System will consider grants and sponsorships that align with the following focus areas:

• Economic Development
• Education/Workforce Development 
• Health and Wellness
• Social Services

Grants and sponsorships cannot be awarded to:

• Political Candidates, Labor or Social Organizations
• Private Foundations
• Individuals, Families or Organizations on Behalf of an Individual or Family
• Organizations that discriminate because of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or any areas covered by applicable federal, state or local laws.
